So today, Ashley and Matt have announced the final brief for the typography module. The task is to design a publication for St Bride Library to mark its 125th Anniversary.
Initial thoughts on the brief: I really like the project. I think I should try and make a a4 or smaller book as a3 just seems way tooo big. perhaps even a5? I feel like I want to include lots of printmakig in this book already. Mostly because it will be a nice theme and link throughout the book, it’s experimental and I feel like it will really connect printmaking from the past to present. I also think colour palette is going to be reallly important in this project.
